We were approached by Chinese Canadian Museum’s to create a narrative piece for their new exhibition “Paper trail” about the Chinese head tax documents. We were provided with a storyboard showing the head tax documents flying through the air passing from first generation Chinese immigrants to the new generation of Chinese Canadians born here. This presented challenges both on the story which we felt needed to be shared as well as the visual effects side.
